Science learning in many African countries is thought to be incredibly difficult. It is the 'clever' person’s subject. Girls who enjoy science and women scientists are a minority group. Science is learned over long hours, consists
of a lot of memorization, calculations, and the acceptance of abstract theory.

Incredibly, science can sometimes be considered irrelevant in everyday life! We all know that this is not the case. That it is practical, interesting, and filled with wonder.
