Dr. Berlin will bring her specific knowledge and perspective to the conversation on "The Science of Learning." and help us dig deeper to understand "how we learn '' so that we can be better prepared on how to teach our students.

Neil deGrasse Tyson American astrophysicist, planetary scientist, author, and science communicator

Dr. Tyson was born in New York City the same week NASA was founded. His interest in the universe traces back to age 9, after a first visit to the Hayden Planetarium of the American Museum of Natural History. He was educated in the public schools of New York City through his graduation from the Bronx High School of Science. And after a BA in Physics from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Columbia and a Postdoctoral research fellowship at Princeton, Tyson become the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium, where he has served since 1996.

Chuck Nice American stand-up comedian and radio personality

Chuck is a Philadelphia native and an 18-year veteran of stand-up comedy with a rich history in television and radio. Chuck has hosted numerous shows on television and is a regular contributor to the Today Show. Despite his busy schedule, Chuck still finds time to hit the clubs delighting audiences with his storytelling brand of stand-up comedy.

Dr. Heather Berlin Dual-trained cognitive neuroscientist and clinical psychologist

Dr. Berlin is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and a frequent guest on StarTalk.
